About us

Founder of OÜ Kaunis Rahvarõivas Silvi Allimann, has been involved in making national costumes for 40 years and has been teaching in this area for the last 22 years in the Estonian Folk Culture Development and Training Centre. Her first contact with national costumes was at the Combined Workshops of the ESSR Arts Fund.

Before founding OÜ Kaunis Rahvarõivas, Silvi Allimann has been making national costumes as a self-employed entrepreneur since 1999.

The national costume sets or single items are made as a special order based on the measurements of the client. Each order is unique and made with the cooperation of the client which means you will get a personal approach and a costume you dreamed of. OÜ Kaunis Rahvarõivas offers the following products and services:

• National costumes for men, women and children;
• Overclothes for the costumes;
• Selling skirt fabrics for the costumes;
• Bringing out new costumes from the Estonian National Museum, making new skirt fabric patterns for the costumes;
• Construction of pattern for costumes;
• Making different hand crafted items when needed;
• Organising and teaching training days in different areas of the country.
